How is this product/software different from other similar tools?
Most text messaging apps are event-centric (e.g. clinic reminders/rescheduling) and not patient-centric (tailored to patient data or preferences). REACH is patient-centric (i.e. tailored to patients' preferred time of day, daily routine, prescribed medications, barriers to adherence) and longitudi-nal, supporting re-tailoring over time as medication regimens and/or barriers change. REACH has al-so been shown to improve adherence for 12 months, have high user-engagement for 12 months, and to improve glycemic control among patients with elevated glycemia in a high-quality trial.
